Well, after the surge of AI Jesus imagery online (even exposed on Jimmy Kimmel), it comes to no surprise that companies have seen this trend as a viable marketing tool, hence forth this latest ad campaign for a special unique car! I introduce you to: The New Jesus Chrystler model!

Hi everyone!

For years I've been creating in various forms, BUT I've never released most of my works because I was keeping that in my back pocket to have new content in case my profile would eventually get on the rise. Problem is I believe I have too much now and wouldn't be able to keep up or simply because life is too short and that I just possibly won't get there anyway! 𝗦𝗼 𝗜 𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝘂𝗯 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗨𝗠𝗣, where I'll drop as much as I can in between the freelancing gigs that help me survive. Facebook & Instagram's ultra shitty algorithms will probably still shove my posts way down my friends and followers' news feed or simply not post them at all (or only partially) under the listed hashtags in IG (something I've discovered a while ago), but there's just nothing I can do about this very discriminating procedure... One could argue that my content isn't worth it and is the cause for such low interactions, but after seeing how some posts were doing waaay better in other users' hand (namely one who stole a video of mine, removed the end credits and made it pass for his), I know I could do certainly better than I currently am.

Anyway, I'll be posting them on those platforms nonetheless "just because". But it will always be better to 𝗴𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 to check out 𝗺𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗴 and surf through the various sections. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰: 𝗟'𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗘́𝗘 𝗗𝗨 𝗗𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝗽𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝘁

Pendant des années, j'ai créé sous diverses formes, telles que les arts visuels (traditionnels et dans les dernières avec l'IA), la sculpture, l'écriture, la musique et les films/vidéos. MAIS je n'ai jamais publié la plupart de mes œuvres parce que je les gardais dans ma poche arrière afin d'avoir du nouveau contenu au cas où mon profil finirait par prendre de l'essort. Le problème est que je crois que j'en ai trop maintenant et que je ne serais pas capable de suivre le rythme, ou simplement parce que la vie est trop courte et que je n'arriverai peut-être jamais à ce stade de toute façon! 𝗝𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗰 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗹'𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗘́𝗘 𝗗𝗨 𝗗𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗘, où je mettrai mes oeuvres en ligne autant que je peux entre les contrats à la pige qui m'aident à survivre. Les algorithmes ultra merdiques de Facebook et d'Instagram continueront probablement à placer mes publications profondément au bas du fil de nouvelles de mes amis et abonnés ou tout simplement ne les publieraont pas du tout (ou que partiellement) sous les hashtags répertoriés sur IG (quelque chose dont j'ai découvert il y a quelque temps). Hélas, je ne peux rien faire à propos de cette procédure très discriminante... On pourrait dire que mon contenu n'en vaut pas la peine et est à l'origine de si faibles interactions, mais après avoir vu à quel point certains de mes "posts" se comportaient bien mieux entre les mains de d'autres utilisateurs (tel qu'un usager de FB qui m'a volé un vidéo en ayant supprimé le générique de fin et fait passer pour le sien dans son texte), je sais que je pourrais certainement faire mieux qu'actuellement.

Quoi qu'il en soit, je les posterai néanmoins sur ces plateformes "juste parce que". Mais il sera toujours préférable d'𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁 pour consulter 𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗴 𝗱𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀 et surfer dans les différentes rubriques. Ou encore MIEUX: 𝗝𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗭-𝗩𝗢𝗨𝗦 𝗔̀ 𝗠𝗔 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥 afin d'éviter de manquer des trucs! Et je vous encourage à partager sur vos médias sociaux tout ce qui vous jugez assez intéressant bien sûr!

ATMO HORROX: WEBSITE REVAMP!

I had designed the website for my 3rd feature with an old app and some html skills. But it was long overdue to get revamped and actually be compatible with all of the devices for today's standards. So I decided to gather all the data and reconfigure it within my own site here. All is now clean, and featured on one page (+ the old news timeline as a separate page). All links for reviews and such might not fully work since a few disappeared into the void of the internet over the last decade, but I left them there just to let people know that these things happened and some may actually be found those again via the Wayback Machine or something.

I hope to re-release the film one day on physical media…

ABSTRACT PORTRAITS & ERODED EXPRESSIONS • PART 2

 

𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗛𝗨𝗚𝗘 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗽!

Back in 2014 I started to work on a series called 𝗔𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗿𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 and posted a bunch back in the day (160 or so). But I eventually stopped posting because I jumped onto projects or something else. But I still had about 210 other pieces that I never got around to post or put on my website... So here they are.

These were hand drawn (some with paint), then colored digitally and tweaked in Photoshop. I still do plunge back into that creative vibe everything now and then, and I have made HUNDREDS more since then... But I haven't scanned any of those and don't think I'll ever find time to color them either... But they do exist in black and white in my piles of drawing books.

What gives me the most pleasure out of doing those, is being able to have a direct physical relationship with the medium by letting out my energy through the self-provocation of various more or less unconscious mind triggers and see where my hand leads me (often happening with music playing in my headphones, and never with a specifically chosen group, but my usual very eclectic playlist). It's a very crude, raw and immediate process when I'm starting, and after the initial spark and spurt, I just let myself go with the flow it's leading me on. But I think the most fun part for me, is to look at the piece after and try to suck out what the imagery evokes to me in the form of a character name or title. These are not random! There is alot of "soul searching" to arrive to a satisfactory title for them. The names/titles include some or all of the following aspects: humor, darkness, social commentary, slang, word plays like bizarre and/or cryptic homophone-like manipulations. And I'd like to believe that the fun part for the spectator (if any), is to try and decipher why I gave them their name by trying to see it through their abstract nature. Some or clearly more obvious than other, but yeah.

 

AILIEN REALMS' MODERN COUPLES

 


So this is my first 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗽 post and I chose to go with 4 images from my MODERN COUPLES SERIES (2 more sets to come). This is a twisted homage to my love for odd & unique people, fashion magazine aesthetics and other-worldly coloring.

I've explored the possible levels of weirdness with AI with my "secret tricks", then used Photoshop for coloration, compositing and layout, plus used my Wacom tablet for various tweaks. Hope you enjoy, haha!
